Outside City Hall
This morning, a group of KCC workers blocked off Parliament avenue demanding payment of their salary arrears.
"I have not been paid for four months now."
"We want to see the town clerk."
I was on my way to Kibuli so I had to dash off; by the time I left, a police officer was trying to calm the workers down.

how can you work for 4 months without being paid? transport to work...? school fees? savings?
i know we're always screaming about public sector workers and their inefficiency but at times like these...
